General Tafseer

In this madinan sura, Lam ya kun or Al-bayyinah, Allah Jallajalaluhu explains how the people of the divinely revealed scriptures divided and differed concerning that which He had intended in their scriptures. Allah Jallajalaluhu commands us to make worship for Him alone. After this, Allah tells us the worst and best of creaures and their recompenses.

{May Allah make us among those who are the best of creation.}

Tafseer Ibn Katheer, vol.10, p.551.
